Oh what a tangle web we weave. The backstory of Mika and Devin was plausible. The connection between Anthony, Ciara was surreal. Yet you understand six degrees of separation. Poor little Parker. Overall the story showed that regardless of time and life circumstances we all are a product of choices which have consequences. I respected Devin's unwavering love for Mika. Even more so I love the redemptive qualities found in the supporting cast and the main. Too bad Danny just couldn't get his act together.Product details

I kept looking back at the cover, saying, "Are they sure Sheena Binkley wrote this book?" Not what I've come to expect from this author. The grammatical errors, alone, did me in. I couldn't even finish this.
Great book I am so glad Danny got what he deserved he tried to ruin so many lives and unfortunately they were some casualties it crazy how Anthony and Carla end up being together and how Devin and Mika also I guess that was God plan.I know one thing everyone did what they felt was right to keep their families safe from crazy Danny and you got to respect that overall I love the book it was very interesting I didn't like the fact though how Anthony hid his daughter for that long he definitely got the side eye for that
This book was not the normal writing I've become accustomed to with this author. The grammatical errors were glaring. A little bit street lit with a lot of drama. The story and characters were snarly and streetwise. The heroine was an Executive at her job, however the manner of her actions did not match her role. She was quickly led astray by her libido, furthermore, she just did not think like a top level executive should.. Her weakness was her daughters father. He had gone to jail to protect her and their child. His character was easier to adapt to because of his circumstances. I liked his characterization much better in the story. The story had so many plot twists that kept me turning pages despite my misgivings with parts of the story. A fairly good read otherwise.
Usually her books are a good read, but this book was too thuggish for me to enjoy. I only finish the book, because I wanted to see how she was ending this ridiculous drama.
The one word to describe this book is WOW!!!
If you want Drama from beginning to end you need to read this book. I had a lot of WTF, Shake My Head, and OMG moments.
You will enjoy this book.
This was truly a love story for those of us who often wonder what should we consider in regards to our past. This story will keep giving you more as you continue to read and keep you turning the pages to find out what will drop out of the sky next.
This book was full of surprises. The daughter though, whew, she would not have spoken to me in the manner she spoke to Mika. I was glad that each one of the main characters found true love. I recommend this book for anyone who may have had a setback and found their way back to happily ever after.
